This guide describes how the minimum billing amount applies to your market placement declarations.
What is the minimum billing amount?
To cover the administrative and processing fees of your file by Ecomaison for the relevant period, a minimum eco-participation amount is billed.
The minimum amount is €60 excl. tax/year for annual declarants and €15 excl. tax/quarter for quarterly declarants.
This minimum amount is due for each EPR sector.
To whom and when does this minimum apply?
For whom: All clients making market placement declarations.
Starting Q1 2026: declaration submitted in April 2026.
Retroactivity: The minimum billing amount also applies to prior and corrective declarations.
How does the minimum billing amount work?
Declaration: You enter your market placement declarations as usual in your Services Space.
Automatic calculation: The system calculates the amount of your eco-participation.
Minimum application:
If the calculated amount is less than the minimum threshold (€15/quarter or €60/year), then the invoice will equal the minimum amount.
If the calculated amount is greater than the threshold, the invoice corresponds to the actual amount.
Negative declarations: If your declaration is negative (e.g., returns of unsold items), the minimum billing amount applies but does not cancel your credit. It is simply deducted from your negative balance.
